Today's curriculum teaches kids that there is only one solution to every problem. We believe otherwise. We teach our students to shape their own future, not just fit into it. Leadership is about thinking differently, critically, and having the confidence & skills to communicate effectively.

Case based learning is a technique that uses real world cases (often in the areas of business, social enterprise) and teaches students to use critical thinking and analytical approaches to coming up with solutions. It teaches students how to apply knowledge rather than just memorize them.
Most programs focus on a single topic. Here, students apply multiple subjects to a single problem, hence enabling them to understand the real-world application while maximizing retention. Further, the program develops non-academic benefits including presentation skills and teamwork/collaboration.
Case based learning is commonly used in top-tier business schools, preparing for the real world. These programs at this age are designed to help students prepare for higher education, post-secondary programs like DECA as well as exposure to a variety of business related fields.
Yes - we integrate the current Ontario curriculum, as well as look at peer-reviewed sources to specifically craft our cases. These cases are designed to help students integrate their current education into real-world cases, as well as introduce concepts that prepare them for the future.
There is no obligation to attend every workshop. Each week we will work on a different case so students are able to join in anytime. There is always opportunities to learn the concepts as many cases will pull from previous sessions and will give the children a chance to learn/re-apply these.
No - we often ask that the parents wait outside as we want the children to be able to work with their groups and really get the benefit of the shared discussions/collaborations. We can certainly accommodate requests from time to time, but that will be subject to the instructors discretion.
